2026 Fireworks Compliance Efforts
The City's Fourth of July operation combined Code Compliance, Fire Prevention, Police Dispatch, Animal Services, and supporting departments to respond to illegal fireworks activity across Victorville. Field operations took place from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, with Fire Prevention and Code Compliance staff assigned in pairs to designated enforcement areas.

Administrative staff prioritized incoming reports for field response, while two-person teams supported staff safety and violation documentation. Confiscated fireworks were transferred to the Fire Department. Property owners were cited when tenants refused responsibility.
