Approval of payment for Fire & Tornado Insurance

The university insures its property through the Finance and Administration Cabinet, Division of State Risk. This is an annual policy with effective dates of July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.

The annual premium is $1,317,071.44. In the 2024-2026 biennial budget bill, the university received an appropriation of $822,000 to partially cover this expense. The remainder will be paid from the University's E&G budget.
