Approval of Budget Increase for the McCullin Hall Renovation Project
FACTS:
- The McCullin Hall Renovation Project was originally approved at the September 12, 2024, Board meeting.
- The approved budget was $500,000.
- The initial estimate only included window replacements.
- The project's scope has now expanded to include:
- oExterior repairs
- oReplacement of all doors
- oMajor concrete, sidewalk, and walkway replacements
- This request is for a budget increase of $1,500,000.
BUDGETARY IMPLICATIONS:
- The additional $1,500,000 will be funded through the University's 2024–2026 state bond-funded asset preservation funds.
RECOMMENDATION:
President Koffi C. Akakpo recommends that the Board of Regents approve the budget increase for the McCullin Hall Renovation Project.
