Interim Policies Notification
Kentucky State University follows a structured process to ensure that all policies are transparent, accessible, and aligned with the University's mission. In accordance with the Policy on Policies, interim policies are posted on kysu.edu to allow members of the University community to review and provide feedback. This posting period ensures that faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders have the opportunity to share input and identify any concerns before the policy is finalized.
After an interim policy has been posted for 30 days, if no significant feedback requiring changes is received, the policy will be forwarded to the Board of Regents for formal approval. This process balances responsiveness—allowing the University to address immediate needs through interim policies—with accountability and shared governance by ensuring that the Board ultimately reviews and adopts final policy decisions.
