SECTION 5: APPENDIX

Q12: What is the most important opportunity to have close to home?

Q12 Key Insights

The data indicates the most important amenities that residents want close to home are trails for walking, running, or biking, followed by places for children to play, exercise facilities, and areas to relax or enjoy the outdoors.

Exercise facilities are a top priority for the 60+ age group, in addition to trails. While places for children to play are most important for the 35 to 44 age group. Younger adults (34 and below) show a balanced preference for various amenities, including places to gather and relax outdoors.

Trails for walking, running, or biking are the most valued amenity among single-person households. Whereas places for children to play are increasingly important as household size grows, peaking in households of three members.

Exercise facilities are consistently important, particularly for single-person households, and places to relax or enjoy the outdoors are also appreciated across different household sizes, with single-person households again showing the highest preference.
