INTRODUCTION How to Use This Plan

This Strategic Plan is intended to be an implementation-oriented document for the development of parks and recreation facilities through the year 2028. The main purpose of this Plan is to provide the Millcreek Township Parks and Recreation Department with an accurate, usable tool to guide its actions and decisions concerning:

• New parks and facilities development;
• Existing facility renovations, expansions, and upgrades;
• Cooperative efforts in providing recreation needs;
• Possible land acquisitions;
• Staff and resource planning.

The plan is organized into five major components with appendices:
