The Presque Isle Gateway District is envisioned as an area that will embrace Presque Isle State Park and its visitors, while also emphasizing other regional assets, such as Waldameer Park and Water World as well as local restaurants and retailers. One overarching goal is to create a heightened experience for State Park visitors and at the same time provide an opportunity for them to spend time and money in Millcreek at local restaurants, shops, parks, and other nearby attractions. This makes good business sense for both local businesses as well as Millcreek Township.
