Millcreek’s subdivision and land development ordinance (SALDO) should include specific design guidelines and/or standards to better integrate the public and private realms and promote private development that contributes to a sense of place.
An update to the Township's Zoning Code is currently underway and contains changes to the area including a new mixed use zoning district, the Presque Isle Gateway District, and a more focused area, the Presque Isle Corridor. The purpose of the zoning district and the corridor are to use strong design and beautification to establish an iconic gateway presence for the district.
