Kanopy is an online streaming services that allows card holders to access movies using their library card and password. The number of tickets a patron can use monthly can be found on the Kanopy website.

If a patron wants to request an item for purchase that we do not currently have in the library collection, they may fill out a Materials Request Form. The patron must have a Balch Springs Library card and the item they are requesting must have been published within the last 5 years. The patron request does not guarantee a materials purchase, but Library Staff will consider your request according to the directives in the Collection Development Policy and as funds are available.
