WHEREAS, pursuant to the Faulkner Act, N.J.S.A. 40A:9-165.1, the governing body of a municipality is authorized to determine the salary, wages or compensation of members of the governing body; and
WHEREAS, the salaries for the Township Council for CY 2022 shall be as set forth on the attached Schedule A; and
WHEREAS, the salaries are within the range set forth by the Salary Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey, as follows:
That the Township Council, does hereby approve of the salaries for the Township Council for CY2022, in accordance with the Salary Ordinance, as set forth on the attached Schedule A.
That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Administration, Personnel Department, Chief Financial Officer, Township Council and any other interested parties.
