TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON
RESOLUTION NUMBER: 284R-22
TITLE: AUTHORIZE SUBMISSION AND ACCEPTANCE OF FY 2022 STATE OF NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF LAW AND PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL BODY ARMOR REPLACEMENT FUND
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson wishes to submit a grant application to the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Office of the Attorney General Body Armor Replacement Fund; and
WHEREAS, the amount of said funding will be determined at a later date by the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Office and upon said grant award determination, the Township of Jackson will apply for a 2022 Budget Amendment to the Division of Local Government Services in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:4-87; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Township Council to adopt a resolution authorizing the submission and acceptance of this grant application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, that the submission and acceptance of the above Body Armor Replacement Fund application for FY 2022 is hereby authorized.
Certified Copies of this resolution to be filed with Municipal Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Sergeant Vincent Rubio, Chief of Police and any other interested parties.
