WHEREAS, pursuant to the Faulkner Act, N.J.S.A. 40:69A-43a, the Township Council fixes the salaries of Department Heads; and
WHEREAS, the specific salaries which are set by resolution are the Department of Administration, the Department of Public Safety, and the Judge of the Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, the salaries to be set for CY 2022 for the Department Heads are within the ranges of the current Salary Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the salaries for the Department Heads for CY 2022 shall be as set forth on the attached Schedule A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey, as follows:
That the Township Council does hereby approve of the salaries for the Department Heads of the Township of Jackson for CY 2022, as set forth on the attached “Schedule A”.
That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Administration, Personnel, Chief Financial Officer and any other interested parties.
