| 6. Staff Appreciation Basketball Event | • “Hot mess”
• It should not be assumed people should show up unless they actually commit. The expectation was not made clear.
• Not our responsibility to work games. This is up to Athletics.
• More staff senate needed to show up to this.

| 7. March Staff Senate Meeting | • Meeting has been moved to March 17, 1:30PM at the Coop Building. St. Patrick's Day | • All Staff Senate wear something green.\n• Alison will update flyer to Jack and Jasmin to distribute. |
| 8. Outreach Committee Meeting | • 1st Meeting. Went Well.\n• Elise, Jack, and Louis attended this meeting.\n• Encourage everyone to pick a staff person for the Thorobred Recognition. Our goal is to flood this so Breds Office has a good selection to choose from.\n• Elise will reach out to Michael DeCourcey about Outreach Projects.\n• Campus wide email blasts has to go through EVP Stamps.\n• Possible paper invitations for everyone on campus. | • Louis will speak with Bred's Office to see if anyone is interested in joining the outreach committee. |

| 10. Sick Leave Proposal | • Every institution except us has a sick leave policy where employees can donate sick time\n• Currently, KSU has short term and long term disability. If an employee receives this, they only get 60% of pay.\n• Keeping long term and short term will still be an option but it will be employee pay.\n• Six-week limit. Have to be out for five consecutive days before you qualify. All hours have to be exhausted first.\n• Employees have to have to maintain a minimum of 75 hours before donating.\n• Morehead's model is being used.\n• One complication: This also affects faculty as well.\n• University Benefit: Reducing liability on books. | • |
