| 3. Approval of Minutes | Motion to approve the minutes for the May 11, 2021 Staff Senate Meeting Minutes
• Corrections: Under Roll Call, remove the word president.
• Correct Delandual Conwell's name.
• Change Bakets to Baskets under Outreach Committee. | • Unanimously approved with corrections |

• 2021 – 2022 budget has been approved. | • |

| • Staff will be receiving a 1.886 Cost of Living adjustment for all permanent and full time staff. | |
| 5. Staff Senate Committee Updates | • Outreach Committee
- Work in Progress. We are still working on the Fill the Basket.
• Staff Morale Committee
- Will be meeting immediately after this meeting.
- Narrowing down Juneteenth Cupcake Celebration
- Event may have to be moved down to the first floor in the ASB Building
• Staff Relations Committee
- Waiting on new person for Sodexo for Thorodash.
- Gift for any new employee once they are off their 90-day probation. This would be for part time people as well. Need to decide what will be in it.
- Have a meeting with Daryl Love to talk about enrichment for employees. Pathways to Promotions. Current staff have same opportunities as non-employees.
• Election and Credentials Committee
- Barbara Hayes will schedule a meeting with the remaining members.
• Executive Committee
- Jasmin will schedule a time for us to meet. TBA. | • Fill the Basket will happen during July or August. The Outreach Committee meeting will meet to discuss this.

| 7. Announcements | • Jasmin’s 40 birthday is June 27.
• Seven Current Vacancies. All Staff Senate seats will be up for reelection
• Two Ombudsman positions will also be up for election.
• All Staff Senate Members can help staff out when resolving issues.
• Zumba class Wednesdays 5PM – 6PM in Exum Gym | • Jack will need to go through the Staff Senate email list to make sure it is updated. |
