Applications for the development of this site must make provision for new and improved sustainable transport and highways infrastructure including:
New or improved access points in the form of priority junctions including Station Road / B6167 Gorton Road, dropped kerbs and tactile paving; and Emergency access to be facilitated via Shillingford Road in Manchester.
In order to avoid, minimise and mitigate visual impact on its context and Designated and non-designated heritage assets in its setting, the mature planting to the southern boundary of the site shall be retained / enhanced.

i. In order to avoid, minimise and mitigate visual impact on its context and non-designated heritage assets in its setting, the retention of the mature planting to boundaries of the site shall be maximised.
HOM 2.10 Romiley Board Mill
i. Applications for the development of this site must make provision for new and improved sustainable transport and highways infrastructure including:
New or improved access points into the site in the form of priority junctions, dropped kerbs and tactile paving;
New footway and possible shuttle signals under the railway bridge on Oakwood Road; and
Improvements to the footpath towards Chadkirk Estate Country Park, including surfacing and lighting, to support walking and cycling to Marple High School.
