Provide a description of the activities that prepare general education teachers to:
Teach students with disabilities effectively

Participate as a member of individualized education program teams, as defined in section 614(d)(1)(B) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

If yes, provide a description of the activities that prepare special education teachers to:
a. Teach students with disabilities effectively
Teacher candidates complete required courses that address classroom management, instructional strategies, differentiated instruction, legal issues pertaining to education, and the use of technology to guide instruction. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge pertaining to categories, laws, regulations, and the needs of students with 504 plans, IEPs/IFSPs, IBPs, IFSPs, and GIEPs.
b. Participate as a member of individualized education program teams, as defined in section 614(d)(1)(B) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
