Reason for Consideration: Informational Item Enclosures: None
Background: Human Resource Services has initiated and implemented several significant projects for the University as described below:
Compressed Work Week Pilot Program—the University established a pilot program for a 4-day work week schedule for non-faculty employees. The assessment instrument was distributed to participants and their supervisors and all responses have been received. Analysis will follow.
Under revisions to 403(b) regulations all 403(b) plans must be in writing. In order to comply with this requirement, the University has submitted relevant information to Ascensus, Inc. for completion of a draft plan document. Upon receipt the draft will be vetted with appropriate legal counsel and presented to the Board of Regents for review and approval.
A mandatory payroll audit of all non-student employees was started. The purpose of this audit is to ensure clean employee data and to ensure that employees acknowledge and review the Human Resources Policy Manual, sign the University's Code of Conduct and complete the annual Conflict of Interest statement.
Initial planning meeting with SunGard consultant was held to start the data gathering process for the Banner implementation.
