Kentucky law requires public postsecondary institutions to develop policies and procedures governing the process of resolving administrative appeals for student state residency decisions. Kentucky State University (KSU) has policies and procedures in place for such appeals, which includes provisions of the regulation, 13 Kentucky Administrative Regulations, Section 2:045. Since this regulation underwent an amendment in 2010 after the publication of the current version of the KSU University Catalogue, the Board is required to review and approve the updated policy and procedures.
The Student Affairs Committee review and approve the University's updated policies and procedures for student residency administrative appeals as outlined below.
