MINUTES

Regent Phyllis Williams, Chairperson called the meeting of the Kentucky State University Board of Regents Student Affairs Committee to order at 10:30 a.m. on January 27, 2012. Regent Williams asked Mrs. Longstreet, Recorder to call the roll:

A motion was made by Regent Douglas and seconded by Regent Conner for approval of the minutes of the October 28, 2011 meeting. The motion was approved.

Action: No action.

Correction: No corrections.

Informational: Dr. Rubye Jones reported on activities from the following student affairs and enrollment management areas:

• The Office of Student Life for Holistic Development and Programming.
• The Office of Student Health Services.
• Career Counseling and Placement.

Dr. Roosevelt Shelton reported on pursuing the establishment of formal articulation agreements with Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Jefferson Community Technical College, Hopkinsville Community and Technical College, Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, and Hazard Community Technical College. He also reported on the Stewardship Initiative with William Wells Brown Elementary School: The Colts to Thorobreds Achievers Program.

Regent Conner moved and Regent Douglas seconded that the meeting adjourn at 10:50 a.m.
