Robert Mania is working with two KTIP mentees in the local middle school and is the campus representative for the Kentucky Space Grant.
Mr. Mark Tollefsen will serve as the orchestral keyboardist for the Lexington Philharmonic during their 2012-2013 subscription season.

I am currently the chairperson in charge of designing the minority male mentoring program on campus. Also, I am currently participating in the African American Male Initiative, a statewide initiative organized to address issues related to minority males in higher education.
I am a member of the Faculty Senate, and serve on the Curriculum Committee. I am also a member of the assessment learning community. I am currently on the board of the Kentucky Association for Gerontology, and serve on the board of Sigma Phi Omega – the honors and professional organization of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education. I am working on building collaboration with the Frankfort Senior Center to provide opportunities for community engagement for students in gerontology classes. The first events begin this semester. I also serve on the board of Faith-in-Action (senior needs program) in Lexington.
