Background:

According to the Board of Regents of Kentucky State University Bylaws, Article V, Section 1, one of the duties of the Board of Regents is to "...grant diplomas and confer degrees upon the recommendation of the President and faculty."

Recommendation:

Upon recommendation of the President and University Faculty, the Board is requested formally to confer the appropriate degrees upon students who have completed degree requirements during the December Commencement Ceremony on December 8, 2012.
