MINUTES
I. Call to Order:
Chairperson Karen Bearden called the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Kentucky State University Board of Regents to order at 4:00 p.m. on April 24, 2014.
II. Roll Call:
Chairperson Bearden asked the Secretary to conduct the Roll Call:
Regent Barfield, Present
Regent Bearden, Present
Regent Henry, Present
Regent Whitehead, Absent
Regent Williams, Present
Four Committee members were in attendance. A quorum was declared.
III. Opening Remarks:
Chairperson Bearden welcomed the attendees to the Committee meeting.
IV. Closed Session:
Action: Motion was made to convene a closed session to discuss personnel matters and pending litigation pursuant to the Kentucky Open Meetings Act. The motion was made by Regent Williams and seconded by Regent Henry. The motion passed, 4-0.
The Committee discussed pending litigation and personnel matters. No action was reported from closed session.
