April 23, 2016- Student Leadership Conference. This Conference embodies Student Life's mission of stimulating an interchange of ideas, attitudes and opinions, and builds self-esteem and strong leadership skills. Through hands-on leadership experiences, inspirational speakers, impactful workshops and peer discussions, students are engaged and empowered to dream and plan for leadership roles throughout their matriculation, and beyond. Leadership is the key to success in every profession and students will enjoy innovative and fun leadership workshops where they learn and apply essential leadership skills. The skills include team building, ethical decision making, time management, goal setting, public speaking, and conflict resolution. Students who participate will develop characteristics of leadership and boost interest in being more prepared to lead organizations and initiatives for the campus.

April 24, 2016- Diversity Week- will recognize and celebrate different ethnicities and culture that highlight contributions of Hispanics, Asians, Africans, Caucasians, Pacific Islanders, Muslims, Christian, Catholic and more while encouraging the KSU family to sample foods during the Taste of Diversity, participate in games, contests, and events that embrace diversity worldwide!
