All Department Chair Search committees will be formed by October 30, 2015. All committees must include racial ethnic diversity and must be approved by the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

A major advertisement is being developed for national distribution of the department chair positions along with endowed chairs and faculty positions. The intent of the advertisement is to capture the new spirit of transformation that is occurring on the Kentucky State University campus. The advertisement will be completed and submitted by October 30, 2015. The ad will be published in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Inside Higher Education and Higher Education Jobs.

In addition to placing the advertisements, intentional recruiting will take place by contacting individuals who might be interested in a Department Chair position at Kentucky State University.
