Regent Karen Bearden, Chairperson, called the Academic Affairs Committee meeting of the Kentucky State University Board of Regents to order at 1:00 p.m. on April 23, 2015. Regent Bearden asked the secretary to call roll:

A quorum was declared.
Action Item: A motion for the approval of the Academic Affairs Committee's January 22, 2015, minutes was made by Regent Farris and seconded by Regent Smith. The motion passed.
Action Item: A motion was made by Regent Farris and seconded by Regent Smith on an amendment to the existing No Fraternization Policy. The motion was approved.
Action Item: A motion for the conferring of degrees for spring 2015 commencement was made by Regent Smith and seconded by Regent Farris. The motion was passed.
Action Item: A motion for adjournment of the Academic Affairs Committee meeting was made by Regent McFayden and seconded by Regent Farris. The motion passed.
