Day to day oversight of physical plant maintenance, engineering, and architectural services. Supervised approximately 70 employees with 9 managers. Responsible for electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, custodial grounds, risk management and administration. Oversaw construction for 6 multi-million dollar buildings as well as several major renovations for the Kentucky National Guard.

Worked for transportation Construction, Materials and Maintenance for 13 years. Managed construction of multiple projects for highways and bridges throughout the state of Kentucky. Managed design work by contract and/or consultant resources. Performed day-to-day project activities; ensured regulatory compliance, and reviewed cabinet standards and procedures. Throughout the project life cycle, responsible for ensuring that pro-active communication is maintained with all internal and external stakeholders.
