The Oracle ERP Implementation Vendor Selection Committee has reviewed the responses from 2 vendors, Tata America International Corporation (TAIC) and ERP Analysts/Addvantum. After discussions and questions/answers sessions with the vendors, the committee has recommended Tata America International Corporation as its implementation vendor.

Tata America International Corporation was selected based on the company's wide-ranging domestic and global experience in Oracle and PeopleSoft. TAIC has developed a PeopleSoft Center of Excellence (CoE). This CoE offers a number of process redesign capabilities, allows for the implementation and maintenance of best practices and includes a portfolio of solution tools and techniques that will aid in increasing productivity, reducing development time, and ensuring the success of the project. This CoE consists of over 1,250 functional and technical consultants.

TAIC is a diamond partner of Oracle and has had a relationship with Oracle for over 20 years. TAIC is a registered member of the Oracle Support and Development Partner Services Program which allows TAIC to be a part of Oracle's Support and Development Partner Services Program team for escalation management for key and unique projects.

While both companies were committed to the success of this project, Tata has agreed that their company will position KSU as a best-practice example of how a significant and valued project should be implemented. Tata has committed the resources to ensure this promise.

Additionally, Tata has committed to using their relationship with Oracle to ensure that any issues during the implementation of the project will get the highest attention from Oracle for a quicker resolution.

KSU is currently reviewing the Tata contract.

The project timeline is subject to change once project planning has been completed.
