Three hundred-eight students registered for the June and July NSO's. The June NSO was held on June 19. One hundred sixty-three students registered and one hundred twenty-five attended. There were walk-ins and some students who were registered for the July NSO attended as well. That evening, Dr. Bennett called each student who was registered but did not attend to learn if they planned to attend the July session or if they were enrolling elsewhere in the fall. Sixty-two calls were made. Of that number, twenty-five students reported that they intended to attend the July NSO, one reported that she moved away and would not be attending KSU and the other calls went unanswered.

One hundred seventy-eight students were registered for the July NSO. One hundred thirty-six attended, including walk-ins and students who were formerly registered for the June NSO but did not attend. There were fifty-two no-shows. Those students will be polled regarding their intentions to enroll at KSU in the fall. Typically, 40-60 students attend the August NSO. Those are usually students who work and cannot attend in June or July, or students who live a considerable distance from KSU and cannot afford to make the trip to campus twice within months.
