Strategies Employed for Increasing Fall 2015 Enrollment
- The entire Student Affairs staff has been integral in driving the fall first-time freshman and transfer enrollment. Admitted students who were not registered for NSO were called and walked through the registration process while on the phone or, staff (with their permission) have registered them.
- An all-day call-a-thon, Student Affairs' SOS for Assistance, was held on May 16. Faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the Frankfort/Lexington Chapter of the Links Incorporated joined Student Affairs staff in placing more than 4,000 calls to accepted students who had not yet submitted Intent to Enroll (ITE) or registered for a New Student Orientation (NSO) and incomplete students (students whose applications were missing test scores or transcripts). All in-state admitted and incomplete students who had not submitted ITE's were contacted. All of the out-of-state admitted students who had not submitted ITE's were also contacted.
Half of the incomplete out-of-state students were contacted during call-a-thon. The other half of the incomplete out-of-state students were called during the work day the following week. The results of the call-a-thon can be found below.
