As part of streamlining the University, the deans of each college were eliminated and the position of Dean of the University was created. A national search was undertaken and the selected candidate is Dr. Lorna Shaw-Berbick. Her vita is attached.
Recommendation – That the Board of Regents approve the appointment of Dr. Lorna Shaw-Berbick to the position of Dean of the University at the rank of Professor with tenure.
