Dr. Thompson:

After review of Dr. Buddhi R. Gyawali's dossier, it is my recommendation that Dr. Gyawali is granted tenure and promotion as an Associate Professor in the College of Agriculture, Food Science, and Sustainable Systems at Kentucky State University.

Dr. Gyawali, who has served the University since 2012, has presented a dossier detailing exemplary teaching and service to the institution as well as a robust research agenda of national and international recognition. His recommendations from then Dean, Tefari Tsegaye, as well as James Tidwell, the Chair of the College's Tenure and Promotion Committee, recommend Dr. Gyawali highly and without reservation.

I am most impressed with the comprehensive care with which he compiled his supporting documents, and this mirrors the contents within. Thus, my review of his dossier concurs with the forwarded recommendations to grant him both tenure and promotion.
