Job scheduling software has been purchased to add operational efficiencies in the business units that use Banner by automating the running of Banner jobs and report generation. This project includes the job scheduling software itself (Automatic), installation and training.
Automatic can help reduce processing errors by automating complex Banner job sequences that are currently ran manually and eliminating miscommunication and bottlenecks that cause job delay. The software will also reduce the failure of not running Banner jobs and can allow for noncompeting processes to run in parallel or in a series. This engagement is expected to end the week of February 23, 2018.
