Faculty participation in recruitment has not been tracked in the past. We are encouraged by the efforts we see faculty now taking towards recruitment. These numbers provide a benchmark to measure future engagement.
While less than 25% of full-time faculty members were engaged in the joint recruitment
While less than 25% of full-time faculty members were engaged in the joint recruitment opportunities provided by Student Affairs (admissions) and Academic Affairs, this is a start in the right direction. The recommendation is to increase the engagement of faculty and staff in collaborative recruitment efforts moving forward to 100% participation. The recruitment efforts bring students to the university and provides visibility for Kentucky State University in communities throughout the Commonwealth. It also helps potential students and competitors understand who we are and what we do well.
