Pursuant to actions approved by the Kentucky State University Board of Regents on October 24, 2014 and November 7, 2014, Kentucky State University ("KSU") in its corporate capacity and Raymond M. Burse ("Mr. Burse") mutually agree to amend the Employment Agreement made and entered into by the parties on June 30, 2014.
The Employment Agreement between KSU and Mr. Burse shall be amended effective October 24, 2014 as follows:
Title Change: Any reference in the Employment Agreement to "Interim President" shall be replaced with "President."
Article II: Term of Employment:
Article II, Section 2.1 of the Employment Agreement shall be amended as follows:
“2.1 KSU agrees to employ Employee as President for the term beginning July 1, 2014 and ending June 30, 2018 (the “Term”). The term of employment shall also be subject to prior termination in accordance with the provisions set forth in Article VI of this Agreement.”
Article II, Section 2.2 of the Employment Agreement shall be amended as follows:
“2.2 This Agreement shall expire at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, on June 30, 2018 (the “Expiration Date”), unless extended in accordance with the provisions of this Article of the Aareement or terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of Article VI of this Agreement.”
All other provisions of the Agreement dated June 30, 2014 shall remain the same.
