Consideration be given to allow faculty to make a ‘gift’ to the University in lieu of an actual salary reduction for tax purposes. This would diminish the financial impact to faculty.
(Of note is the higher amount of reduction realized from ‘non Instructional’ staff (which we assume includes administration) than Faculty. This supports the rationale that KSU spends an unhealthy percentage of our budget on Instruction.)
