Subject: Post-Tenure Review Policy

Reason for Consideration: Approval Enclosures: Yes

Background: In August 2014, the Interim President requested the Faculty Senate to deliver to him by November 1, 2014, a revised post-tenure review policy and procedure as the then current policy was not working and ineffective. Prior to November 1, 2014, the Faculty Senate Executive Committee delivered to the Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs a document titled, "Post-Tenure Review Report". (attached) That report found the current system non-functional and included suggested actions to fix the problems. The original request was for a revised post-tenure review process.

Recommendation: The President recommends to the Board, the Post-Tenure Review Policy and Process in the attachment for adoption and approval to be effective immediately.
