Reason for Consideration: Approval Enclosures: Yes

Background: The Facilities and Maintenance Operations is headed by a director reporting to the President. Because of the importance of these areas and the skills required, the director position should be elevated to the Vice President level to be equivalent to other areas in the University.

Recommendation: The position of Director of Facilities and Maintenance Operations be changed to Vice President for Facilities and Maintenance Operations.

Approval
