Reactivation of Technology Committee

The Information Technology Committee will be reactivated by March 31, 2015. The committee will include student, faculty and staff representation. The primary responsibilities of the committee will be:

• Provide recommendations for, update and oversee the implementation of the Technology Strategic Plan once it has been completed. Promote awareness of the Technology Strategic Plan.
• Review, advise and recommend policies, procedures and standards relating to technology.
• Provide a structure and process for identifying and evaluating emerging technologies for possible benefit to the university.

An external committee of technology experts will also be created to advise the Technology Committee. The goal is to have this committee in place by May 29, 2015. Please note that this date is subject to revision based on potential implementation of new enterprise resource planning system.
