ALUMNI RELATIONS REPORT
The Office of Alumni Relations introduced the Alumni Survival Kit “ASK”. The kit is designed to help create a uniform presence among alumni chapters, by providing them with essential recruitment tools. The kit will help facilitate a unified branding campaign.
Alumni Chapter Survival Kits
A collaboration between Kentucky State University, the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association and the Office of External Relations and Development through the Alumni Relations Office will create and distribute Alumni Chapter Survival Kits during the month of January. The kits will be given to all alumni chapters in varying degrees of need. The Alumni Chapter Survival Kits will consist of:
A hanging banner that identifies the alumni chapter
A tabletop cover that identifies the alumni chapter
A minimum of 100 of KSU admission information such as applications and prospect forms
25 KSU National Alumni Association membership, status and address change and service request forms
There will be 10 copies of the KSU National Alumni Association Constitution, Regional Constitution and assistance in preparing and updating local chapter bylaws (then making 10 copies as a part of the survival kit).
A bag of 100 lapel pins for distribution to alumni in the chapter, prospective alumni and associates, community associates and sponsors at meetings and events.
A gift item like a KSU key chain, ink pen, cup and other possible items that welcome participants and are given for good cheer
An item of recognition for chapter establishment/revitalization in the form of a plaque or certificate
