Strategies for accelerating the admission process and decreasing the number of incomplete applications:
- Training staff from other Student Affairs units and Athletics to enter application data and call prospective students. As a result, all of the students with incomplete applications were contacted via telephone prior to the holiday break.
- Cross-training within the Student Affairs to increase efficiency and manpower during peak periods
- Collaborating with the Academic division to assist in contacting prospective students.
Chairpersons and faculty have contacted thirty-seven students who were accepted for the Spring, 2015 term but had not yet submitted Intent to Enroll forms.
- The purchase of Customer Relations Management (CRM) software to automate several Admissions processes including: phone blasts, emails, and student reminder letters
- Including transcript request authorization paperwork in the Admissions application packet
- Encouraging in-state applicants to utilize Parchment for transcript submission
