Regent Karen Bearden, Board Chairperson, called the Student Affairs Committee meeting of the Kentucky State University Board of Regents to order at 4:00 p.m. on January 22, 2015. Regent Bearden asked the secretary to call roll:

A quorum was declared.

Minutes approved.

Dr. Vernell Bennett identified the priorities of the unit as: reclaiming the students; improving customer service; holistic programming; engaging students, faculty and staff; streamlining the Admissions process; reformatting the Open House; integrating student input into programming; developing learning communities in the residence halls and enhancing in-state recruitment via the Thorobred Express.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 pm.
