Faculty have begun to engage in the comprehensive performance review process for the 2014-15 academic year. Student evaluations began March 21, 2015, and will end on May 1, 2015 for the spring semester. Student evaluations for fall 2014 have already been distributed to the deans, chairs and faculty members. There were two faculty members scheduled to make application for tenure during fall 2014, prior to the moratorium as set by the KSU Board of Regents. Faculty members that were scheduled for consideration last year were Dr. Erin Gillis and Dr. Stephen Ulrich. Scheduled to apply for tenure during the 2015-16 academic year are Dr. Shambra Mulder (Education/Psychology), Dr. Dean Treadway (Nursing), Dr. McCoy (Nursing), and Dr. Sylvia Mason (Education). Faculty scheduled for 2015-16 review were notified of the need to perform peer reviews pending the decision by the Board of Regents on whether to lift the moratorium.
Faculty members have completed their self-evaluations (SES-1), and are now meeting with their supervisors to complete the administrative reviews. Completed comprehensive assessments are due in the Office of Academic Affairs by April 30, 2015.
