Subsequent to the internal review process, all documents will be uploaded to the Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) portal. It is anticipated that feedback from CPE will be provided for the institution during the summer 2015.

PROGRAM REVIEW FINDINGS

The institution lacks a systematic mechanism for collecting, summarizing, aggregating, disaggregating and managing its program data. Notwithstanding, the following observations were made:

  • Program implementation (initiation date) data was not available for all programs (approximately 50%).
  • All programs were clearly aligned with the institution's mission.
  • All programs addressed action steps of the strategic implementation plan in their program goals.
  • All programs have Student Learning Outcomes at both the course and program levels.
  • All programs have contributed to the education, economic and social welfare goals of HB 1, as delineated in the statewide Council on Postsecondary Education's Strategic Agenda.
  • While all programs could describe how they assessed program participants over the past years, not all programs could document how assessment data was used regularly and consistently to effect programmatic changes and improvements.
  • While faculty members and students received external awards and recognitions, some program directors have not consistently noted or recognized the "good works" of their faculty and students (approximately 60%).
  • Data on employer satisfaction is not consistently collected and reported for all programs.
  • Data on graduate satisfaction with individual programs is not consistently collected and reported.
  • Follow-up data on graduate employment is not consistently collected and reported.
