New Online Alumni Dues Payment Process – Working with IT and contractor to launch by start of new fiscal year. Kentucky State University and the KSU National Alumni Association have partnered to launch the new Alumni Membership Dues Online Platform page. The Membership Dues Online process will accept credit cards and automatic bank drafts as a method of payment for alumni membership dues.

The Permanent Alumni Scholarship (PAS) Fund has reached its 25th anniversary. This year, the PAS Fund designated the distribution of at least eight $1,000 student scholarships for fall 2015 and spring 2016.

Alumni Survival Kits – The Alumni Relations Office distributed Alumni Survival Kits through a collaboration with the KSU National Alumni Association. The kits have been distributed to all alumni chapters and content varies based on need. The Alumni Survival Kits consist of:

A hanging banner that identifies the Alumni Chapter

A tabletop cover that identifies the Alumni Chapter

KSU admission information, such as applications and prospect forms

National Alumni Association membership, status and address change and service request forms

KSU National Alumni Association constitution, regional constitution and updated local chapter bylaws

Information assisting with opening a bank account, use of financial and tax exempt information and other financial reporting instructions

A bag of 100 lapel pins for distribution to alumni in the chapter, prospective alumni and associates, community associates and sponsors at meetings and events

A gift item like a KSU key chain, ink pin, cup and other possible items that welcome participants and are given for good cheer

An item of recognition for chapter establishment/revitalization in the form of a plaque or certificate
