B. Managed Cloud Services

The ERP system will be hosted at an external location to KSU and will also include but not be limited to the following managed technical services:

• Life-cycle administration including proactive monitoring, installation, upgrades, patches and maintenance for the Oracle database and application software
• PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Cloud ERP Tier II Help Desk Support Services for KSU faculty and staff including but limited to error diagnosis, troubleshooting, consultation and problem resolution
• DBA tasks
• Hosting, which includes business continuity and disaster recovery of the systems

C. Functional Operations Team

The functional implementation team will operate as the functional users (registration team, admissions team, finance team) and technical experts of KSU during planning, data migration, installation and for a period after the implementation until the old systems are taken offline.

• The Functional Operations team will be external Oracle experts who will:
• oRun the new Oracle systems until the current KSU team is deemed competent to run the new system
• oProvide training to the KSU functional and technical users and work with the overall project implementation team to determine KSU team competency prior to system hand-off
• The current KSU functional and technical team will:
• oContinue to run the existing Banner system during the implementation
• oBe trained by the Oracle experts and must be deemed competent on the new Oracle system, prior to getting access to it
