IR Cohort Report: Each semester IR will provide a graduation rate cohort tracking report which contains information related to students and the hours they have earned, the semesters they have attended, their classification, cumulative GPA, the last semester attended, balances, amount of accepted financial aid, major, advisors, and contact information. This information will allow us to track students and determine how they are progressing toward 4 year, 5 year, and/or 6 year graduation rate.

Student Ombudsman: The purpose of the Student Ombudsman is to ensure that all student issues are headed and addressed appropriately within a timely manner. The Student Ombudsman facilitates communication amongst student, faculty, and staff and answers questions regarding the rules and regulations outlined in the KSU student handbook.

ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC GOALS: When we align University College and the Thorobred Learning Center, we position our student to improve their degree persistence and graduation rates because of the advising and the student focus that we have put in place. We are able to triage our students from different positions to ensure their success or assist with obstacles that they may face.

COMMITTEE/PROGRAM ACTION:

PROGRAM IMPLICATIONS: It is important that we ensure that our graduation rates continue to show improvement. When we maintain successful graduation rates, we are able to continue to add new academic programs. As we are able to add new programs, students are able to diversify by having multiple options or field of studies.
