III. Adoption of the Agenda

MOTION by Regent Barfield:

Move the Board to adopt of the Agenda of the August 5, 2020 Special Called Meeting of the Board of Regents.

Seconded by Regent Jantzen and passed without dissent.

IV. Information Items

President Brown began by presenting Kentucky State University’s Fall 2020 Campus Reopening Update. The campus is slated to open on its normal start date of August 15th and classes will begin on the August 17th. On campus instruction will end on November 20th, just before Thanksgiving, and students will vacate the residence halls. Classes will resume virtually for study week and for final exams. Students are being given the option of virtual or in-person classes with in-person classes restricted to one day per week.

McCullen Hall has been taken offline for isolation and quarantine purposes. Testing and quarantine will be performed by Quest Diagnostics, using the services as stipulated in the
