The agreement for TouchNet, the software that allows for the online collection of tuition and fees and payment plan enrollment through the WIRED system, has expired and needs to be renewed. The University has used TouchNet since 2005.
TouchNet offered the University three renewal terms: 1 year, 3 years and 5 years. None of renewal options contained a clause permitting KSU to terminate the agreement with thirty (30) days' notice. As a result, the University has decided to renew for one year in order to review other payment gateway and payment plan options and to also have more time to negotiate the terms of the agreement should the University decide to stay with TouchNet.
Goal 1: Enhance Student Enrollment, Improve Student Life and Engagement, and Improve Student Advising and Career Development.
Goal 2: Achieve Academic Excellence Across all Programs and Colleges, Increase Student General Education Skills, Degree Persistence, Career Readiness and Graduation Rates.
Goal 3: Increase the University's Financial Strength and Operational Efficiency.
PROGRAM IMPLICATIONS: TouchNet will cancel online payment gateway and payment plans service with KSU if this is not renewed.
