BACKGROUND: Colleges and Universities are adding mental health information, such as mental health and suicide prevention hotline numbers, on the student ID card.
KSU is committed to improving mental health access for students. One step to improve access is to ensure that students have access to mental health assistance when needed. As a result, information on mental health services will be printed on the back of KSU's student ID cards. The updated cards will be reissued during the Spring 2020 registration. The wording for back of the card is being determined by mental health professionals on campus.
