Chair Fields asked whether any of the 11 local internship placements were with the state government.
Regent Walston inquired into the nature of the current internships and how opportunities are communicated to students.
Regent Rios-Alcantara queried whether Bred leaders are considered work study employees and further inquired into the amount of funding available for work study students. Regent Rios-Alcantara also sought clarification regarding Ms. Kelly Ruff's comments at the recent SGA Town Hall meeting referencing potential work-study positions for students assisting with night safety.
